Collaborative Fluidic Development for ScubaTX
ScubaTX was developing an innovative organ preservation and transport system designed to improve outcomes for transplant patients. While the team had already developed a fluidic system concept, they required specialist support to integrate high performance proportional valve technology and prepare the system for prototype development and manufacture.
Building a Production Ready Solution
Through our partnership with Parker, Air Engineering Group was introduced to the project to provide fluidic engineering support. Working closely with ScubaTX, Parker and RVL, our team refined the existing manifold design, integrated Parker VSO Low Flow Miniature Proportional Valves and developed a fully assembled manifold solution. Prototype development, testing, controlled assembly and PCB integration ensured the system delivered the precise flow control and reliability required for this demanding medical application.
Solving Complex Fluidic Challenges
Projects such as this demonstrate the value of collaboration when developing advanced medical technologies. By combining specialist component technologies with fluidic design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing expertise, complex engineering challenges can be transformed into practical, production ready solutions.
Delivering Measurable Results
The completed manifold system successfully met the project’s technical requirements, delivering precise flow control, validated reliability and a scalable design prepared for future development. The project also accelerated prototype development and reduced lead times, helping progress the project towards the next stage of development.
