ControlAir’s compressed gas filter regulators

AEG Launches ControlAir CG330 and CG340 Low-Emission Regulators

Air Engineering Group is pleased to announce the immediate availability of ControlAir’s CG330 and CG340 series compressed gas filter regulators, engineered to deliver precision pressure control with near-zero fugitive emissions. Designed, supplied and specified by our expert team, these regulators address the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance solutions in critical process environments.

Precision Design for Minimal Leakage

The CG330 and CG340 series have been developed around an ultra-low leakage architecture, consuming less than 0.1 standard cubic feet per hour (0.05 Nl/min) of compressed air. This exceptional performance ensures compliance with increasingly stringent air quality and fugitive emission regulations, while protecting downstream control valves and other sensitive instrumentation. Constructed from die-cast aluminium and finished with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating, both models are built to withstand the rigours of harsh industrial settings.

Advanced Filtration and Autodrain

Each CG330 regulator is fitted with a standard 40-micron filter element, with an optional upgrade to 5 microns for applications requiring finer particulate removal. The integrated automatic drain safeguards internal components from moisture and contamination, reducing the frequency of manual maintenance and extending service life. The compact CG340 variant shares these filtration benefits but occupies a smaller footprint, making it ideal for installations where space is at a premium.

Flexible Specification for Diverse Applications

Available in ¼″ and ½″ NPT port configurations, the CG330/CG340 family offers three clearly defined output ranges: 0–30, 0–60 and 0–120 psig. Regulators maintain stability to within 1 inch water column across fluctuating supply pressures, making them suitable for a wide spectrum of sectors including chemical processing, natural gas distribution, energy production and industrial automation. Options for pipe, bracket or through-body mounting, together with manual or automatic drain versions rated to operate down to -18°C, ensure seamless integration into bespoke pneumatic systems.
